Art therapy is a psychotherapeutic modality that supports people to unlock emotions and express underlying fears, feelings and focus. Deborah believes wholeheartedly that creativity is our first language, whether it be music, movement or marks on a page. Children, adolescents and adults need not be skilled artists to benefit from the integration of the creative process.
Deborah works with couples to develop lines of effective communication in order to move past barriers that are preventing the relationship from growing. Together, she helps couples highlight relational strengths and practice empathic listening and mirroring. She also supports parenting couples in identifying their values and aligning their practices in order to nurture their child’s development.
